The Waterboys EXTERIOR Car Washing Process
Full Exterior cleaning includes: Body, Wheels, Wheel Well, Tire Dressing, Interior Exterior Windows
Supplies Required: 2 Gallon sprayer, 7 towels, Window Cleaner Spray, tire dressing, tire dressing applicator, Wheel well sprayer, Bug Sponge, and hand brush.
Clean All Rims
Supplies: 1 cleaning towel, 1 finishing towel, 2-gallon sprayer
Process: Clean one rim at a time; spray each rim with the 2-gallon sprayer. There should be No Water Runoff or dripping from the tire. Use one towel to remove wheel dirt and grime, and use the remaining towel for buffing clean. Follow this method on all rims until all rims are spotless.
Dress the tires
Supplies: 1 finishing towel, 1 tire dressing bottle, 1 tire dressing applicator.
Apply tire dressing to applicator pad in the shape of a “V”.
With light Pressure, place Applicator on the outer edge of the tire and Rotate in one counter-clockwise and clockwise movement, until tire edge is completely dressed. Repeat for the inner tire. Follow this method on all tires.
Clean Wheel Wells
Supplies: 2 gallon sprayer, 1 wheel well sprayer, 1 cleaning towel
Process: Clean one wheel well at a time; spray each rim with the 2 gallon sprayer. There should be No Water Runoff or dripping from the well. Remove wheel well dirt and grime using the finishing towel used on rims in Step 1. In case of excessive dirt in the wheel well, brush first before beginning process.
Cleaning the Body
Supplies: 1 cleaning towel, 1 finishing towel, 2 gallon sprayer
Process: Spray one side of the vehicle 2-gallon sprayer. There should be No Water Runoff or dripping from the well. With the cleaning towel in your dominant hand and the finishing towel in opposite, begin cleaning each panel in a left to right horizontal motion from top to bottom until all dirt is removed. Follow the same left to right motion with your finishing towel. Repeat on all parts of the vehicle.
Clean Interior and Exterior Windows
Supplies: 1 cleaning towel, Window cleaner spray.
Process: One window at a time, spray interior and exterior window with Window cleaner spray. With the cleaning towel in your dominant hand, begin cleaning each window in a left to right horizontal motion from top to bottom until all dirt is removed. Follow the same left to right motion with your finishing towel. Repeat on all remaining windows.
Full Interior cleaning includes:
Vacuuming of seats, carpets, and trunk
Dash, trim and cup-holder Cleaning
Bagging all loose items
Door and trunk jams Cleaning.
Supplies Required: 1 Shop Vacuum , 1 cleaning towel, 1 finishing towel, Interior Cleaner Spray, One Waterboy Bag, and dog hair brush.
Bagging Loose Items
Supplies: 1 Waterboy Bag
Process: Open vehicle and put all interior loose items from side door and cup-holder into the Waterboy Bag. Loose items include pencils, pens, cards, glasses, or anything can fit in the palm of your hand. Items larger than your hand should not be placed in a bag, but should remain with the Waterboy bag in the passenger seat.

Clean Dash, Trim, and Cup holders
Supplies: Interior cleaner spray, 1 cleaning towel
Process: With interior cleaner spray mist console, cup-holders, and odometer. Using your towel, clean all misted parts of the interior until streak free. With your damp cleaning cloth wipe off entire dash clean.
*Avoid spraying dash with interior cleaner to avoid “double-cleaning” of the windows.
*Wipe down headrest and head
Vacuum Seats, Carpets, and Trunk area
Supplies: 1 Shop Vacuum
Starting on the front passenger side, remove mat and place outside the vehicle next to its corresponding door. Vacuum front passenger seat first. After seat is completely vacuumed, vacuum all carpeting around the seat. This should include door pockets and cup-holders. Continue this process for all the seating areas in the vehicle.
Clean Door and Trunk Jams
Supplies: Interior cleaning spray, 1 cleaning towel, 1 finishing towel
Process: Open All doors (to include trunk). Spray all jams with interior cleaner spray. Remove all dirt from the jams of the vehicle with cleaning towel. For streak free, follow with finishing towel
